All persons who are not registered to vote and who desire to register to vote in this special Election may register to vote through the close of business on May 17, 2021.
Early voting & first date to mail ballot start:
- May 24, 2021 – May 28, 2021 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 pm.
- June 1, 2021 – June 4, 2021 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- (Holiday May 31,2021 our office will be closed)
- June 7, 2021 – June 11, 2021 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
PUBLIC NOTICE: Early Tabulation of Absentee Ballots
PURSUANT TO §O.C.G.A. 21-2-386 (a) (3) (4) This is to notify the citizen of Twiggs County that the Twiggs County Board of Elections will begin tabulation of the June 15, 2021 Special Election for the Municipality of Jeffersonville of Twiggs County, at 5:00 P.M on June 15, 2021. Tabulation will be in the Twiggs County Elections & Registration Office Rm#123, in the Courthouse at 245 Railroad St North Jeffersonville, Georgia 31044.

About the Board of Elections
The Board meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 3:00 pm in the voter registration office room 123. The Twiggs County Board of Elections is made up of 5 members. Meeting dates and time are subject to change. Please contact our office at (4780) 945-3639 for information on the dates and time of the meetings. Our office is open to the public for meeting and questions about any concerns. Fair and impartial elections are provided by following current federal, state and local laws.
The Board of Elections and Registration is responsible for conducting all county, state and municipal elections.

NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS AND OCUPANTSA, representative (s) from our office with proper I.D. and marked county vehicle may be visiting your property during normal business hours for the purpose of collecting and verification of any data for accuracy due to any appeals, returns, permits, business license, sales verification, covenant applications, neighborhood or county wide reviews and an updated photo if needed. This include all Residential, Commercial, Agricultural, Industrial properties and Manufactured Homes.
