PUBLIC NOTICE: INTENT TO PROCESS EARLY OF ABSENTEE BALLOTS
PURSUANT TO O.C.G.A. 21-2-386(a)(1)(G)(2) (A) & 183-1-14(This is to notify the citizens of Twiggs County that the Twiggs County Board of Elections/Registrar Office will begin Processing of the ballots for May 19, 2026, General Primary Election/Non- Partisan Election at 10:00a.m. on May 18,2026, until completed. The continuation will begin on May 19, 2026@10:00am until completion. Early Processing will be in the Twiggs County Election & Registration Office /BOC Meeting Room in the courthouse at 425 Railroad St North Jeffersonville, Georgia 31044.
The early processing of absentee ballots before the closing of the polls shall be a controlled process to maintain the secrecy of all ballots and to protect against the collection or disclosure of any balloting information before the close of the polls at 7:00 PM on Election Day.
